In many Chinese cities, a mixed-use model of shopping malls and offices is commonplace. Typically, a building's lower levels feature a range of restaurants and shops, while office spaces occupy the upper floors. As a result, many individuals opt to fulfill their dietary needs within the same building where they work.

In my vision for a capsule coffee machine, I aspire to create a design that offers consumers a consistent, high-quality coffee experience regardless of their location. Whether at home, in the office, or even in shopping malls, the same caliber of coffee should be accessible.
KEYWORDS
Drawing inspiration from the current features of Luckin coffee, such as its self-service and speed, I envision extending these concepts. Moreover, I aim to introduce a novel experience where individuals can customize their coffee capsules, catering to the diverse preferences of different people.

CONCEPT
In terms of appearance, my inspiration comes from the blue container shape that Luckin Coffee uses on many occasions. The shape of the container reminds me of the gantry.
Functionally my vision is to use mugs for the capsules so that everyone can walk around with their customized capsules. Therefore, the cup lid of this cup will have other products. When you need to extract coffee, you only need to hang the cup on the machine, not only this coffee machine but also the vending machines in the mall.
MUGS DESIGN
Regarding the design of the mug, two solutions are provided to deal with different scenarios. One of them is a cup lid with a storage capsule, which consumers can use to enjoy customized coffee anywhere. The other is the regular lid, which is smaller and lighter.
Left One: The left side features a cup lid designed for coffee extraction. The upper section is the lid, held in place by a rubber ring at its base. The central portion houses the coffee capsule. Once the capsule is positioned, the coffee flows out through a round hole at the bottom.
Right One: The right side showcases a standard cup lid, which is identical to traditional lids. When consumers opt not to carry coffee capsules with them, this lid can be used instead.

CAPSULE DESIGN
As capsule coffee gains traction, especially within the Chinese market, there's a noticeable trend toward flavored and customized coffee options. This personalized approach might just be the optimal solution for the evolving tastes of consumers. Luckin Coffee Go capitalizes on this trend, with its major selling point allowing users to select their preferred coffee bean types and flavors via their app
MACHINE DESIGN
The design of the machine is tailored to ergonomics, ensuring functionality and ease of portability. We've revamped certain aspects of the previous designs and introduced enhanced interactive features.
The front is used to place the cup, and the middle is the body of the machine, which contains the water pump, motor, heating wire and other parts. At the back of the machine is the water tank, which can hold more than 1 liter of water
The wave shape on the front of the fuselage is inspired by the ocean, the grille decoration on the side is inspired by the container, and the assembly method of the cup is inspired by the gantry.
The part of assembling the cup is similar to the traditional capsule coffee machine, the difference is that this machine has a circle of card slots, which helps to fix the machine. After the fixation is completed, the inside of the machine will complete the docking with the capsule by moving.
SERVICE DESIGN
After completing the first operation, Luckin Coffee Go will record your preferences, and then upload the NFC chip on the lid. Through this chip, consumers can log in and set up anywhere, reducing additional operations. The scene here is suitable for the consumer's office or the vending machine in the mall
Vending machine: Now Luckin Coffee's coffee machine will not only sell you coffee, but also let you no need to spend a penny and enjoy a coffee. Just bring Luckin Coffee capsules, bring your cup, and enjoy your unique customized coffee anywhere and anytime.
